Memorial Attendance

I almost forgot to mention our memorial attendance as many people have asked about it. We have an isolated group in the mountain area a few cities away. They have around 10 or 12 publishers assisting it. They had in attendance for their area over 200 people. For our local congregation, we had over 200 people as well. The final number was around 430 people in attendance.

almost 6 months

Hello there!
In 12 days we will have lived in bolivia for exactly 6 months. The time has seriously flown by at an unbelievable speed.
We send out bestest of wishes to all of you, and hope that this blog finds you in good health.
Do you like it here? That is the question I am asked the most, by both people here and people back in the states.
My response? I love it.
I love the simplicity here and the excitement of living in South America. It isn't at all what people say it is(unless those people have really gone, then they are probably right.). You will find crime everywhere. You will poverty and violence and things that show we are living in the times of the end. But here you see just a little bit less. I don't know why, but it's different. Regardless of where you are, we all go through trials, that doesnt change. But living somewhere with so much less distraction, it can be easier to focus on your goal, Serving Jehovah to the greatest extent possible.
That's what I've pulled away from living here.
As well as the fact that regardless of your mother tongue, skin color, or culture, you can go anywhere and you will be treated not only with kindness, but you will be treated with love as you are part of their family, because that's what Jehovah's Organization is right? One big family. A loving family, because our Father Jehovah is the greatest demonstrater of that quality: Love :)
It is a wonderful privelige to be part of this Worldwide family, knowing that we have brothers and sisters wherever we may go. Friends that I will never lose no matter how great the distance between us may be.

Please send our love and greetings to your families.

Love, Chloe' Huling

Hey there :)

Hola! Chloe here :) Sorry I have been such a slacker about keeping this thing updated...its amazing how (when you're adjusting and getting settled in) the time flies!!!
We hope you all are doing wonderful, and not freeezing to death...I've heard this winter's been pretty cold!
Here it's technically..."summer" but it's also rain season...soooo....it rains alot and gets VERY cold (cold for us southerners anyways ;] hehe!)
We are now settled into a congregation!!! It's is so beautiful to be part of Jehovah's Organazation, is it not? We have seen first hand how despite cultural differences, even a language "barrier" has no effect on the love shown by our  brothers and sisters...They love us, and yet, have only known us a few months. This is only possible because of the Worldwide spiritual family we are a part of :)
Many ask..."Do you have 12 studies yet?!" Unfortunately...not twelve...but i do have two, as well as many good calls and mag. routes. :) Mom, Dad and nick also have good calls and studies. Here, the need is more in the congregation, building one another up (although the territory is very productive as well ).

It is amazing to see people so interested in the Bible. Unfortunately, the territories I worked back home weren't as productive, so when someone here says yes they want to talk, yes i can come back, they want the magazines, they want a study ....I have this..."REALLLLLYYY?" (with big wide eyes and a huge grin) expression on my face. I've even been tempted to hug some people. haha!
It feels good to type so much in english!!! I don't do that much anymore...

We are all doing VERY well (if I do say so myself ;] ) with our spanish, the immersion thing really helps. Dad gives talks frequently and Mom gave her first talk Wednesday (2/9). Nick and I both have parts next week(2/16).

I will be more efficient about keeping up with this :) My apologies!

Much Love!!!

Chloe <3
